Absolutely not. The immense advantage of the donut slide is that it is a 100% dry track. The glide is ensured by the friction between the rigid bottom of the tube and the innovative synthetic tiles of the track. This means no wet clothes for your visitors, and no complex maintenance related to water or artificial snow management for your staff.
The donut slide is very accessible. Generally, children can enjoy the attraction from age 4 if accompanied by an adult in a double tube (or placed on their lap). Independent use on a single tube is generally allowed from age 6 or 7, depending on the height and inclination of the chosen track.
It all depends on the space you have available. We can create small tracks about ten meters long with a start at 2 or 3 meters high, ideal for young children. For a thrill-seeking attraction targeting teenagers, we can design monumental ramps with a start at over 5 meters high.
In the vast majority of installations, visitors carry their own tubes back up on foot using a secure side staircase alongside the track. The “donuts” are lightweight, made of resistant yet manageable materials, and equipped with ergonomic straps or handles for easy handling, even for children. For very large-scale projects with a significant vertical drop, it is also possible to design the integration of a mechanical conveyor belt system to return the tubes automatically and offer premium comfort to your customers.
